So Interestingly, the series boasts more spin-offs than mainline games, with four of them initially launching on Android and/or iOS platforms. Echoes of Mana, the most recent addition, took us back to the franchise’s roots as an action RPG. Released on April 27th, 2022, the game adopted a free-to-play model with optional in-game purchases. Unfortunately, unlike its mobile predecessors, Echoes of Mana did not expand to other platforms.

On May 15th, 2023, the official Echoes of Mana Twitter account delivered a heartfelt announcement, informing the community about the game’s shutdown. The developers expressed their apologies for the unexpected ending,so recognizing the disappointment it may cause. As a token of appreciation, they shared a beautiful painting featuring Mousseline, one of the beloved playable characters from the game. Additionally, they directed players to the Square Enix Bridge site, which served as a reminder of the initial shutdown announcement made on February 13th.
